The project aims to assist the post 9/11 recovery of families with young children by providing a developmental screening, assessment, and if needed parent-child treatment. All services are provided at no cost. Families can receive services if their children were born between 9/11/96 and 9/11/02 (approximately between the ages of 2 ½ to 8 ½ years) and either currently live or attend school below Canal Street or did at the time of 9/11. It is open to families who are doing well and to those who may need support. Those interested should call (212) 809-6255.
