Howard Coupland
Board Member
Wilmington, North Carolina native Howard Coupland is a freelance photographer whose work has been featured in national and international publications. His videography has appeared on regional newscasts as well as national broadcast television. Mr. Coupland is a PADI certified rescue diver and is a member of the Divers Alert Network. He has used these credentials to assist in the filming of major motion pictures and internationally broadcast television series.

Mr. Coupland graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a bachelor's degree in psychology. He is a North Carolina licensed building contractor and real estate agent as well as a retired restauranteur.

In September 2003, Mr. Coupland was introduced to September's Mission by the Remembrance Flag creator, Gwen Loiacono, and he is a supporter of her and her husband Richard's organization as well.
