Ms. Morton is responsible for implementing media strategy, managing the Web site's content/design and organizing September's Mission events. Ms. Morton drew upon her background in journalism to help Ms. Iken found September's Mission after the death of her husband in the World Trade Center. Ms. Morton has assembled a team of top-notch media strategists to promote the development of a memorial park that ties into the overall development of Lower Manhattan and is sustained through public and private partnerships. Ms. Morton has her Master's degree in business and journalism from Boston University. Her work has appeared in The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Providence Journal, The Boston Globe, The Toronto Star and The Prague Post.
