Hiram M. Lazar

Hiram M. Lazar is the Chief Financial Officer of Excelsior Radio Networks, Inc. Mr. Lazar has been with Excelsior since its formation in 2001 and is responsible for all financial operations of Excelsior. In addition, Mr. Lazar is charged with overseeing Information Technology, Human Resources as well as all administrative functions of the Company. Mr. Lazar plays a key role in the Mergers and Acquisitions activity of the firm. Prior to joining Excelsior, Mr. Lazar was the Chief Financial Officer of the Franklin Capital Corporation, a publicly traded venture capital firm that was the lead investor in Excelsior. Mr. Lazar also spent seven years as the Vice-President/Corporate Controller at Lebenthal & Co., Inc, a leading municipal bond brokerage firm. Mr Lazar spent the first seven years of his career as a CPA working for a number of local and regional CPA firms. Mr. Lazar received his BBA in Accounting from Hofstra University and his MBA in Finance from the Stern School of Business, New York University. Mr. Lazar is a member of the AICPA and NYSSCPA and sits on the NYSSCPA Chief Financial Officer's Committee. Mr. Lazar has worked in Manhattan for 20 years and was born and raised on Long Island where he lives with his wife and three young daughters.
